This is my 3rd mouse in this style after the original MX and an MX 3s. I loved the original MX and it lasted several years before getting replaced with the 3s. The soft coating on the 3s felt nice, but started flaking and practically disintegrating after less than a year. Although I occasionally game, this is primarily used for work and general web browsing/desktop use. When compared to the MX and MX 3s, this FEELS significantly cheaper, but it functions better at half the price.

My Pros include the lack of a rubbery coating, retaining custom settings or bindings without the software running, quality internals, and adjustment buttons on the mouse itself. I love the 4k dongle being shaped like a tiny keyboard and I did go with the 4k version just for that even though I have never used the 4k polling mode.

Several small cons add up to a general cheap feeling. The plastic creaks when I grip it, it is too light for a work or mixed use mouse in this ergonomic style, and the primary scroll wheel has noticeable play before the side-tilt clicks. My only functional complaint is the wobbly scroll wheel, as I use the tilt function very regularly it leads to accidental triggers.

I did not consider a lot of the regular competition as I cannot install software on my work pc and many name brands forcefully attempt to install their companion software once plugged in. The fact that Keychron makes no attempt to install software on it's own, and it can be uninstalled without the mouse losing the changes is a major plus for me as it enables functions on my work pc that my MX did not do outside of my personal pc.

Ultimately, the M6 leaves me wanting a premium version that feels more solid, slightly heavier, and has a tilt scroll wheel with better side-to-side stability. Personally at $100-$125, I would go for a M6, M7, M1, or full size M3 with those features as the side scroll is no longer important for me. I would love a metal version with a removable top half so that I could paint or powder-coat it (depending on if I want to add weight) and make it my own.

After few months I still I don't understand the battery life or my model "Black / 1000 Hz, M6-A1".

On the web they say it will last "Up to 120 or 80 hours" based on the model, but it probably does not apply to bluetooth. I am only using bluetooth and I must charge the battery every other day. Usually it is discharged in the morning when I want to start working. Does the power-switch work correctly? Any known issues? In my case the battery life is around 12 hours.

I've bought the M6-A5 4K (White) via MaxGaming Sweden as I already was ordering through them. I already own a Custom Q2 ISO and a prebuilt (mods coming soon) C2Pro for the office. The M6 has the typical ergo shape that mice like MX Master are known for but has a way less clunky shape and feel (smaller in width). The M6 is also way lighter than typical office mice at only 78 grams (lighter than a Vaxee XE). Mouse feels good in hand and has a decent coating. buttons feel nice to use and encoder is loud like a Zowie mouse. 4K HZ works like a dream onm M1 Mac mini with 144HZ 1440P resolution but I have yet to test it in COD. Teflon feet feels decent on Xraypas AC2 but I'm not sure about the skate design. Where are replacements and also where is aftermarket support from brands like Xraypad?

Please note that the mouse is very light and feels quite strange.
If I had known it was this light, I don't know if I would have bought it.
I prefer a heavy mouse.
But everything else is fine, size, shape and other functions.
